Gas Safety Certificate and Inspection Hatch work

Inspection Hatch openYesterday one, of our engineers installed an inspection hatch for a new customer who required them after a gas inspection was carried out earlier in the week. Inspections hatches are required if the flue of an appliance is not accesible or cannot be visual inspected. Sometimes flues are covered by plasterboard, wood for cosmetic purposes. Gas Safe has introduced a regulation in 2013 where it is deemed unsafe if an engineer carrying out an inspection and the flue is covered.

We supply and fit inspections from £78 inc vat, this also includes a gas safety certificate.
